Job Details:
Pay: $ per day (to be updated)
Positions Open: 1
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7A-7P and 7P-7A
36 hours weekly guarantee
Weekend Hours: Must be able to work rotating weekends
Float Requirements: No float
Call Requirements: No call
Number of Beds: 12 bed ED with an additional three areas for fast tract patient
Patient Ratios: 1:6 or 1:4 depending on staffing. Try to staff 3 days and 3 nights with a mid-shift from 10A-10P. Many times, we can staff 4 and 4 throughout the shift.
Equipment: able to care for patients on ventilators, BiPAP, Central and Arterial lines.
EHR: Meditech
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: from the common cold to traumas
Scrub Color: blue, can wear sweatshirt, tee shirt with scrub pants.
Any unacceptable attire: no offensive language or political statements on any attire
Requirements:
Active Unrestricted NC License
BLS, ACLS by American Heart Association - required
Must Have Skills/Experience: traumas- handle stabilization of traumas and prepare for transfer
Preferred Skillset/Experience: chest tubes, critical drips, traumas
Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience
Must be able to provide 2 supervisory references
